To change the fruits, we have to change the roots.2011 has been an incredible year with some meeting their ends and some failing. To those who have failed lets not give up and throw the baby with bath water, but lets be geared up for this year and start it on a high note. Our success this year depends on our ability to seat down and weave a strong mission statement which states where we are and where we want to be and gives us an insight of the prize to be paid before we began to enjoy the prize. This is the time for personal audit. It’s futile to continue doing the same thing and expecting different results. If we are to live abundant lives, we have to accept the need to change not only our mentality, attitude and beliefs but also our associations if they don’t auger well with our goals. If 2011 has handed us lemons lets turn them into lemonades. If it has left us with scars, lets turn them into stars.

Life is a challenge and sometimes it is like you are swimming against the tides. This is not a signal to quit, but rather a call to be focused and resilient. If we are to make a mark on this earth, we need to be practical dreamers. Dreams that are not put into practice will remain fantasies and prompt us to remain heroes in our own minds. Believe in yourself and start pursuing your dreams now nomatter how seemingly insurmountable they are. Wasting time procrastinating and moaning won’t help us. Procrastination is the mother of depreciation and absoluteness, it will lead us to develop roots among the ordinary. With character, its possible to win in situations once described as hopeless by others, mind you there are hopeless people not situations. Winners in today’s" world fight to the last drop of their blood transforming their dreams into reality lets emulate them if we are to live abundant lives and leave a legacy. In this world of big names, there is no room for whiners but winners and your disability doesn’t matter but your ability.

STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE IN EVERYTHING YOU DO

On this day at your age you deserve to be more than what you are. If we are to live abundant lives, be it spritually, business, family or any other field we need not to content with our current status quos. Whilst I believe that in life there are other things we are obliged to content with like our chosen partners, children and creed. There are other things that if we content with them we will continue rooted amongst the ordinary. Contentment is the parent rock of depreciation and utter absoluteness in business, sport, marriage and education. We need to strive for excellence. It is one of the attitudes of amazing achievers to continue lifting up the bar and giving out their best shot in everything they do. They don’t believe in near enough is good enough perspective of life. What seems to be the roof to some is their starting point. To live counting lives, let’s push everything we do to the edge and go the extra mile. Most of us we suffer from arrival syndrome and waste time celebrating past victories yet there is life to live ahead. We regard breakthroughs as success and journeys as destinations. Challenge yourself and be obsessed with excellence. It is this paranoia that led Christopher Columbus to swim perpendicular unlike other sailors of his time.  Our genaration has become the one i can call the i have my education.
Most of us we think that education is only what is needed for a meaningful and a successful life.

Many relationships ended prematurely as the parties were not committed to nurture them because of the i have my education mentality.Most of us due to impatient we left some carreer milestone jobs as we did not have the much needed patience because we regard ourselves as educated.Yes, there are some facerts of life were we need to value ourselves and our education but applying it to all aspects of life has caused some to sleep under bridges with their degrees and some to wander from place to place searching for the right partner as well as greener pastueres.Those who succeded in changing the face  of this world proved to us beyond any reasonable doubt that education  is not in the top ten of success menu. Bill gates,  the founder of microsoft is a college drop out but has impacted immensely on humanity and is one of the richest man in this world.The list is endless Richard branson the founder of virgin active is also another drop out but who have made fortunes not because of education but character. On the local scene, we have Jacob Zuma and Morgan Tsvangirai the prime minister of Zimbabwe all the two did not persue education to higher levels,where are they now?.
