MAKE A DIFFRENCE

The great mother Theresa once said "if you can’t feed a thousand people just feed one.’ Today’s world is running short of real life campaigners. Where are the Mandela , Gandhi, Helen Keller , Luther and mother Theresa of today when in some schools children spent nine hours standing because of furniture shortage. As if this is not enough, how many street kids who are about to endure the discomfort of this winter, what about those at old peoples home and above all the HIV infected orphans at various Aids care centres.Who will challenge the widespread of social hieracheis which are characterised by few elites at the apex and the majority at the bottom who are in turn exposed to untold suffering, discrimination exploitation and gross social injustice. The impetus for all these social ills is that most of us we have become self centered. The secrete of aunthentic living is not about the number of years you live but the depth of those years is what matters most. Martin Luther lived a short life of only 39 years but he has positively impacted humanity and is regarded as one of the great champion of social justice. It has been correctly pointed out that those who are wrapped up in themselves make a small package. Consider others in everything that you do. An act of humbleness or even a simple smile can change ones' day mind you that everyone is fighting a battle. Those who enriched this planet up to this level knows well that impacting humanity is everyone's inescapable responsibility and they believe in the adage that a potion of what you got from the world must be returned to the world. Just like a soccer career the length of it doesn’t matter but its depth matters most, your life will be judged by deeds not decades. You still have four splendid seasons, 365 golden days and four marvelous weeks to amend your ways and act.
